Trybe Records 2.0 Presents: K9 – Kokoma (Freestyle)

Trybe Records 2.0 unleashes K9 with a new freestyle titled Kokoma. Once you are done listening to this track, you will realize that K9 is not just a good composer, he also understands how to deliver his composed lyrics in a manner that will move the listener.
It appears that his time off after coming 2nd place on the Trybe Records #TopTalent competition which earned his a recording contract, has been spent honing his skills and developing his sound and self as an artist.

The freestyle serves as the first taste of solo work for K9 since
finishing as 1st Runner Up in the popular Trybe Records talent
competition Top Talent and more recently featuring on eLDee’s club hit
“Higher”. The song precedes a flood of material expected from Trybe
Records’ artists in the next few weeks, headlined by the pending
release of K9′s 1st studio single.
In addition to his high profile feature on eLDee’s “Higher”, K9 also
featured on eLDee’s Undeniable album on the popular tracks
“Transformer Love” and”Zombie”.

“In a bid to raise more anticipation for the release of his second studio album ‘Oga Boss’, veteran rapper Illbliss has collaborated with maverick Hip-Hop producer XYZ on his new EP.
Titled ‘Position of Power’,#POP is a four-track project which features a talented combination of Illbliss’ thorough but witty rhymes and lyrics laid on XYZ’s mind drifting beats. It’s something new for the Hip-hop lovers and has enough energy for the snap-back kids to jerk to.
The EP also contains a surprise remix of the smash hit ‘Anamachi Kwanu’ as well as some other Hip-hop medleys.
‘The wait is over, the album is ready but I just needed to get this EP off my chest, there’s a lot to rap about and XYZ felt like the right person to work with’, Illbliss says.
The ‘Oga Boss’ album is set to drop in late October and will feature cameo appearances from Ice Prince, Banky W, Timaya, Wizboyy, Naeto C, Phyno amongst others.
Illbliss a veteran rapper, is also a top exec at the Capital Hill-The Goretti Company record label which houses artistes such as Illbliss himself, super talented singer Chidinma and singer-producer Tha Suspect while XYZ is a producer-rapper for Hip-Hop group Str8buttah and also doubles as a graphics animator for CAPital Pictures
